Many of the responses we’ve received from India include stories of listeners who are the first Christians in their entire family. Please pray for strength and boldness for Christians in India who face persecution even from family and friends.
Pray Turning Point’s mobile apps can be found and accessed by thousands who are seeking Bible Strong content in India.
Out of India’s 1.3 billion people, only 3 percent (or roughly 25 million) are Christian. Eighty-one percent are Hindu and 13 percent are Muslim. Pray Turning Point’s broadcasts in India reach many Indians for Christ.

“I listen to your program every evening. I am a junk dealer and I live outside of the town in an open slum with my family. In the evening when I come from work, I sit with my family, with my wife and two children and after dinner we listen to your program. I learnt that we should pray for the good future of our children. We should pray for their work, their education, their health and to accept Christ in their lives. I don't remember the verse of the Bible now because I am an illiterate person. But it was from the Bible which says that we should pray early in the morning. From that day, I pray for my children. I started sending them to school. India has more than 1.3 billion people, 35 million of whom speak Punjabi, 500 million of whom speak Hindi, and 125 million of whom speak English. Turning Point first began broadcasting on radio in Punjabi to both Pakistan and India in 2012. Since that time, we have received more than 15,000 responses and countless stories of lives being changed. We have received over 6,000 responses specifically to our Hindi radio and television broadcasts in India. Our latest Telugu television and YouTube ministry allows us to reach close to 70 million Telugu speakers around the world. In 2019, we also launched our Hindi and Telugu Facebook pages and are now able to connect with over 20,000 believers across the world and encourage them in their daily walk with Jesus Christ.
